DONORE MAKING HISTORY!
A packed audience assembled n the Hilton Kilmainham on Thursday evening (December 4) for the long-awaited history of Donore Harriers, called —approrprioately— ‘The Story of Donore Harriers’ with Eamonn Coghlan, a member of Donore’s senior cross-country winning team of 1978 performing the honours. As one of Ireland’s oldest clubs, dating back to 1893, the Donore story is a fascinating one and writers Maurice Ahern and Pat Cassidy, backed up by editor Mary Ahern and publisher Colin Moore have done it more than justice. We’ll give it a proper review in a week or so!
