Entry fees: Senior €10, Junior & juveniles €5. Entries close on 27th Oct @ 23:59 (𝗡𝗢 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦)
U19 athletes can score in both the U19 & Junior competition 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵. An U17 (born in 2008) can enter and run in the junior contest, but in order to request a bye for the U17 Nationals, he/she must also be entered in the Dublin U17 championships but cannot be included in the Dublin U17 County/Regional team for Nationals, by virtue of the fact that he/she did not run to qualify in the first 12 finishers.

"𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝟭𝟳-𝗨𝟭𝟵 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆." - In this regard, the club must request a bye from Cecil for approval.
An individual entered for Nationals in the U17-U19 age group and approved by the regional secretary (Cecil for Dublin) cannot be included as a member of a Dublin County or Regional team, by virtue of the fact that he/she did not run to qualify in the first 12 finishers.
𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 - the first 12 athletes and 4 club teams in the U11-U19 age groups qualify for Nationals.
Club competition secretaries/secretaries are responsible for entering qualifying club teams and Cecil is responsible for entering the juvenile County (1st 10) and regional teams (first 12) for Nationals.
